Because is very nice
More than a spa, a swimming pool with heated water. Small environment, not very "spa" atmosphere.
Headphones mandatory, but I didn't find any information about it on the site. There is a sauna, but not the possibility to freshen up immediately afterwards. I expected better considering the history of the place.
Good morning, I'm calling the secretariat at 10.30 am on January 6th to request confirmation of the opening times of the swimming pool. I learned that you have to book entry and, moreover, entries are staggered at pre-established times. I live in Porretta and the inconvenience is reduced but what if some tourists come specifically from outside based on what is indicated on your site?? I don't think reservations are required to enter the pool on public holidays!!
I don't recommend. In terms of shape it seemed to me in all respects very similar to a municipal swimming pool, it is not an environment suitable for relaxation and one should not expect the lighting, silence and atmosphere typical of a spa centre. Right from the changing rooms we had the feeling of a dirty environment. Unequipped changing rooms: there were no benches, space, clothes hangers and were full of hair on the floor, plus many of the lockers had broken locks so were unusable.
Swimming pool full of children.
For rehabilitation it is a perfect environment, but it is not right to dazzle people with photos like the one in the package I purchased.
The photos on the site are really too far from reality.
The treatments may be valid, but for a day at the Spa the quality-price ratio is terrible: 25 euros for 4 hours' access to a very small swimming pool, bare and almost devoid of hydromassages, plus a mini sauna without external hooks for bathrobes and Kneip path that alternates warm (not hot) and freezing water. To top it off, only 3 showers with no separation between them in front of the only toilet, small and dated changing rooms, nothing to drink within reach. Two furious girls from Naples who paid 9 euros each for slippers and a bathrobe. At these prices one would expect much more, disappointing structure and not up to par given the hype about the relaunch
A very pleasant discovery, in a very nice environment at an honest price. The after-effect of the spa is fantastic, both on the body and the mind.
